Chris Pareja resident of Hayward, is running against Pete Stark in November’s election. Pareja is hoping to end the senior congressman’s 39-year presence in office. The race is for the seat in Congress representing California's 15th Congressional District (CA-15), which includes all or parts of Livermore, Pleasanton, Sunol, Dublin, San Ramon, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Cherryland, Hayward, Union City, San Leandro, Fremont, Danville, Byron, Tracy and Oakland.

Chris Pareja was born in 1972, which is the same year that Pete Stark, 80, was first elected as a congressman. Running against Stark in November’s election, Pareja is hoping to end the senior congressman’s 39-year presence in office. Chris Pareja nació en 1972, mismo año en que Pete Stark, de 80 años de edad, fue electo por primera vez como congresista. Postulándose contra Stark en la elección de noviembre, Pareja espera terminar con los 39 años que el congresista lleva ocupando el cargo. "BikeMobile" servicio móvil de reparación de bicicletas

Personal capacitado en la reparación de bicicletas ayuda a un joven a ajustar el manubrio de su bicicleta. El programa BikeMobile busca aumentar la seguridad en bicicleta y fomentar el entusiasmo de los jóvenes para ir a la escuela en bicicleta.

Se ha puesto en marcha el nuevo programa BikeMobile, que busca fomentar en los estudiantes el ir a la escuela en bicicleta. Este programa es una colaboración de la Comisión de Transporte del Condado de Alameda (Alameda CTC) y la Comisión Metropolitana de Transporte (MTC) en asociación con la organización Cycles of Change.

The City of Hayward was recently profiled as part of the ongoing “Strong Cities, Strong State” campaign highlighting local government success stories across California. Hayward’s profile features five success stories: Hayward’s Neighborhood Partnership and Mural Art programs, the police department’s SMASH program, the Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force, and library services.
